Back after a day's break! the topic of the day concerns more so bout England! As we all noe, Sven my man faces a major decision when he selects his central defenders todae. Rio, Sol and Terry...who shd start? I've give u my money's worth on their qualites....

Needs no introduction. Have been in the england fold with the likes of Neville and Becks. Has been included in tournament elite teams in the WC , Euro 2004 and has served England Well. Always an automatic choice but no longer since the emergence of Terry. However, has been in fine form since the injury. Has looks sharp in those games and definitely has lots to offer. Speed has always been his weakness but always a physical prescene to strikers. World Class

The most natural defender of the three. Has been compared to Bobby Moore and touted to be the next England captian. Has not been at his best this season but nevertheless, was named in the All star squad in WC 2002 too. Sven has always kept faith wif him and he's the first choice in the England bckline! Reports have stated he will lose his place but who noes? A classy defender and a bright future ahead!

The current PFA player of the yr and wat a yr he has had!!!!! With this kinda form, he will surely make him way into the regular england fixture!! Was awesome in the matches wif Liverpool in the last week but he's been replicating the form which is why he is the best defender in the continent nw. Most likely to start the match tonite but there seems to be a odd feeling that Sven will go for the Rio and Sol partnership.....ermmm..........i duno ...World class defender

A bit of nostalgia feel written in my post todae. Ermm.....kinda miss those days when we were kids, when police wore shorts n those games we played .......ahhaa........a blast in the past ...Pita brings you!

1 Chatek

My fav game when young. i believe tat can be true for many guys out there. During recess time, will always rem hw as kids, we will skip lunches for a fine game of chatek. Cheap and easily affordable. A gd game that involves mind.body.hands and legs! ahaha..All these terms may jus ring a bell -"shadow kick","spinner","powerball".........ahaha....Can still rem we entered into this Macdonald's competition and we gt 3rd prize!!! ahaha...I"M THE CHATEK KING!!!!!

2.Lego

Nt many had this privilege of playing wif lego back then BUT i was one of them!! ahhaa. u noe y? i won 7 sets of lego in a competition when i was like 5 ..Boy!! it was paradise.. i had the pirates sets, the people from the petrol stations, the castle stuff ....everythin!! I"M THE LEGO KING!!!!!

3. "Football"

Nt the actual football game ...but involves one using paper and a pencil. This easy game can be played by 2 'boliao" pple at any time. place. It involves sliding the pencil and marking the spot with the pencil. The next turn will start from the point and it goes on and on for a limited time. Pretty fun but rather 'retarded" as the paper fills itself with so many lines...can be confusin man!

4.erasers/rubbers!

An all time fav! rem the rubbers we all collected when we were young? those wif the countries pasted on them?...ahha.. it was not so long ago, that everyone in the classes were playin wif their rubbers and erasers. All we had to do is to fork out the rubber cost, challenge someone. An easy game that involved jus flpping yr rubber over the opponents's ones! Looks easy but techniques had to rite! ..intense and exciting! I LOVE RUBBER!

5. stick those paper! (toliet)

the game everyone plays in the toliet. ahah...its free and fun! wait! before i cont'd ...its ILLEGAL! ahhaa.... a roll of toliet paper will be used and added with water. haha. the challenge is to try n throw in up the ceiling! whoever sticks the longest is the winner!!! original game invented by singaporeans but its quite disgusting! some pple like it ..while some dont! I LOVE IT!

6.Catchin/freezer/police n theives

All involves the use of running. Similar in concept but slightly differs from each other in games rule. my fav was freezer though! i was like this evil kid jus wanting to freeze pple ! haha...imagine being a kid...n when u touch someone...tat someone freezes !! ahaha..WAY cool!!! a nice and fun game which kids enjoy but one has to physically fit cos lotsa running is involved!

7. Pepsi cola 1 2 3

A classic! never ever knew hw the name came bout though? mayb ..pple who used to play it drank pepsi cola after it ??....ahahaa..nvm ! its always nice to stamp yr feet on someone's shoes esp pple u dislike. the only bad part is shoes get dirty! mums wt be pleased with this game!

8 2-0-5 guess and hit!

painful game! gggr...its realli hard to explain the game in words BUT i;m sure pple out there noes hw its played! an ever easy game cos it only involves hands!!! its realli convennient, easy, .....unless u do not hav hands! OOps! ( tats quite rude!)...this game never ends ! pple who usually play normally "pad card" to hit the hell of one person. A normal target will be establised b4 the game ....he will normally get his hands red!!! dangerous and may result in severe hand injury if played for10 hrs.

A dissapointing day cos liverpool lost 1-4 and i lost the mood to comment on their defeat. Sadly, i agree, liverpool needs to play better. it was an error prone match ...here's s a few pointers!

(1) Hypia - u are fucking slow! Drogba beat u in all areas in the match... mayb its time to change carragher's partner

(2) The midfield battle was lost! Gerrard, Alonso,Hamann lost possesion and passes were bad!

(3) Garcia has to be dropped i tink! he looks like a lost sheep in the battle field!

(4) When are we going to use 4-4-2 formation again???????? Crouch has no support!!!

Liverpool's tradition has been built on its attacking play and boy ..it was dissapointing to lose like dat! Blackburn is next!..and i do hope we get a victory this time! a crisis bemoans!!!!!

Chelsea Vs liverpool ...Round 2!! tonite is between the 2 giants in a space of 1 week. The 1-1 draw is creditable for liverpool but its time to prove counterparts that the draw was no fluke. A usual, i expect chelsea to stick to the line-up with the exception of SWP and Crespo restored to the starting line-up.

For Liverpool, we need to put quality pple on the left wing and right wing to trouble the chelsea defence. I expect the line-up to be similar to the one with the expection of who is playin on the 2 flanks. Go for goals!!!!!!!!!!

Went for my interview at david jones today. i was 5 mins late and was cursing and swearing %%*&^%$*!#% at how to find the HR department. (i was told to attend a grp interview at 10 when i gt off the fone from the operator a week ago) funny! have never attended a grp interview! Well....i made my way to the reception and was ushered into a discussion room filled with people. It was mixed with a rich blend of the young and the old, a few excutives in suits, some high school students and suddenly..i felt so small........

"Ohh no..i hope they dt ask questions in front of everyone!" i was telling myself..

In the end, the grp interview was a fun process. All the applicants actually sat down together and particapted in games and activities. It was actually an interactive process, but i cant seem to figure how they can choose the ideal candidates from this process. Everyone had their fair go at presenting of the discussion process and almost everyone there was equally spontaneous.

I guess i did fine ...as usual...the crapiness and silliness in me had the room roared in laughter! i do hope to get the job though cos the pay is good and working for david jones will go well with my CV. For starters, an hrly rate for weekday and weekend is $17 and $23 respectively. YAY! i'll be rich again. wish me luck~~~

Going for interviews have neber been so relaxing as this morning ..but having said that ...a few crucial pointers still needs to be taken care of.

Here are some :

1. Ist impression always counts!

its always the first impression that counts! An old-fashioned statement but its so true!! Attire, grooming, hair, poisture all fall under this catogory. Employers will no doubt be in favor of one whom possesses good ist impression. Though not crucial as there are other factors which determine yr grasp on the job...but always the first point on the list!

2. Hold those fears

this is always somethin which one will tell oneself to do for every interview but its somesort a hard thing to follow. Pple get nervous and some to the extent of ...panic attacks during the process but i guess u jus hav to constantly remind yrself . Confident do comes at its cost though because an over-potraying leads to arrogance and employers hate tat! Breathing helps in calming the situations down while others have their own way of curbing those fears. Its all in the mind!! simply- remember. Breath in and out...and stay confident!

3. the eye

i personally feel THE EYE plays an important role in the interview. Maintaining good eye contact throughout the process is essential in conveying the msg to yr future employers : " YES ..i am wif u ....i hear wad u are saying....etc..!" Most pple handle this well as they might say- " its jus looking at the other person face" but i tink there's somethin more than tat....its nt a glance and definitely nt a stare! balance my young padewan is the key word.

4. the big L

Lingustic abilites/ Language sets the benchmark for employers to see how well u can speak. Some pple speak too fast, some as faint as an ant, others stutter, some speaks well but not to the point . I say - keep it short, to the point and yet at times, elaborate on the certain key highlighted issues. Speak at a moderate speed and a appropriate tone which is comfortable!

5. unglam? or habit?

Often in interviews, our hidden 'unglam' talents tend to surface and when tat urge comes: STOP it! Sometimes, its jus come like tat without one realising it....habits like picking yr nose, shaking yo legs, rolling yr eyes, yawning without covering.....etc...... the list goes on! there's nothin one can do except change those habits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its hard i suppose....

Can u believe it? 2 penalty claims denied and its so obvious from tv replays!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! I felt both team were catious and didnt wanted to commit in attack. Chelsea was as usual excellent in defence while livepool lack the bite in attack. The midfield battle was won by the liverpool trio which Alonso n Gerrard were good. i thot Hamann had a superb game! He always thrives on European games and i dt see y not this time. Pool's defence was excellent minus the mix-up between Carragher and Hypia. I do see some problems in the team though (1) Hypia's speed is a concern as we saw hw Robben glazed past him (2) Luis garcia and Cisse weren't really in their roles as L/RAM and they lost quite a no of posessions! We still lack the depth in wing play (3) and lastly,Crouch though capable of holding balls, needs a strike partner to rely on. Aniway, the match was entertaining and i was gutted wif Pool not winning. Round 2 this Sun then! A liverpool win on the caards!!!!!

Being a life-long liverpullian fan, it jus comes into my attention the importance of this match! In a space of 1 week, we host chelsea twice in the champions league and the premiership. It seems all talk this week has been the on-goin debate on the disputed goal that Luis Garcia scored! aniway...the cup has been won n its over..let's jus tok and concentrate on the 2 battles ahead!

Sensing the bitterness of Chelsea last yr, they will go out for a victory and i've been really impressed on the form of the champions this season. They have started the season brightly with 7 wins and are playing good football. Seems like a onslaught rite?

I dun see it tat way though. YESH ! liverpool have drawn their last 4 games but in Europe they certainly play differenently. With a tactical genius like Benitez leadin them, he already proved success by leading them to the European Cup last season. What concerns is the lack of goals recently n whether it will prove costly in a epic encounter like this.

i expect Chelsea to stick to their tried and tested 4-5-1 formation with 3 midfielders controlling play in the middle, with the intention to deploy the two wingman : ( Duff and Robben ). Chelsea have gd wingers both on and off bench and its an area to exploit the defenders with their pace and skills. SWP and Cole can also come on ltr as the latter proved to score the winners in encounters with liverpool last season.

Liverpool on the other hand, i dt expect them to go 4-4-2 cos Benitez is cautious and will not risk playing two upfront. the key is to stop the Chelsea midfield and particular Lampard and Makelele. . Alonso and Gerrard is the prefered central midfield choice although i can say ..they lack the aggression, the tendacity of the chelsea trio. Sisoko is one such player who can hold the midfield but i dun see him featuring from the start though he might come on ltr. He might even start if Benitez drops Garcia for him but its highly unlikely.

Aniway. i obviously want liverpool to win and its going to be a tight affair. European nites in Anfield have always been special and the hype prior to this match is buzzing. Let;s jus hope liverpool win but like wad Jose said....if they lose ..it doesnt meant anithin ..its jus 6 points lost! i jus hope for an entertaining match for an epic battle!!

it was one of those days which i felt so philosophical as i thot about stuff and particularly, pple who have been wif mi at different points of my life!.....Couldnt have said more that i have neglected pple ard me and at times hurt them! tis post is jus a sweet reminder hw each one of u mean to me: ( Chronological Order....ranking doesnt mean anithin!!!!)

1. grandma

HAHa! she's nt goin to read this so its gd ....i wt feel paiseh!! One person that commands so much respect in the hse. the closest and dearest person to me - sometimes even more so than my own parents. She listens to me. toks to me and there's this "thing" in her - that i feel so comfortable to tok to, to share stuff. Had a serious disease in jul which made me flew bck to see her! tat period was realli agonising and worried for mi but i;m glad to hear tat she's ok nw! Will forever be in my hall of fame!

2.Mum and Dad

Mum is strict, domaineering, short tempered,nagging, over-protective.........and u could say we hardly agree on a thing together. But she's someone tat keeps the family going and in order. Sometimes..i will ponder wad the hse will be without her! Our rel hasnt been tat gd all along but i cld sense we are improving bits by bits and at least we try to listen to each other nw... My dad is jus simply cool!!! love him to bitz ....he's the cool dude tat hardly speaks a word, hav a nice character and temper.. and we have a gd rel since young. Tks for all these yrs..esp these 2 yrs in Aussieland!!! goin to grad liao!!! u guys can stop worryin liao!!!! ahaa....( i hope)

Know this dude=creature=frd=jackass=mate for 10 yrs now and he;s been my best mate since BB days. Where the others hav failed- our frdship jus grew stronger. This is one guy whom has been through thick and thin with me and prob the only 2 person in this world tat understans mi completely. he's in UK now muggin ( or shall i say CLUBBIN!!!! ahah) and it hasnt realli affected our frdship! in fact...he did his part by visiting me in Jul.....he was my unofficial 'ATm machine' and oso the guy tat pulls me up from various shit holes, my listener in my times of needs and definitely my talk cock sing song buddy!

these three persons will forever be remembered as true comrades who stuck wif mi through the most difficult part of my life! We are so fortunate bck home and we often take this for granted. Aniway, to spice things up....here's a list of measures/precautions i have compiled!ahaha

1. Spray it like Baygone

A favorite with gals. Gals jus simply like the idea of spraying somethin into someone's

eyes. May sound gory and mean but definitely gets the msg across: " FUCK OFF!!". Highly

effective and can cause severe effects on person. Normally sprayed onto the eyes but if it helps

by worsening the damage- by all means spray all u want!

Another fav wih gals. Gals usually like to carry these in their small purses and bags. Normally used for molesters etc but i guess it works too for robbers! Small and compact but makes a uncanny long....loud beep sound. May disturb the enviroment and afffect the neighbourhood. However, faced with the situation...this device always works wonders!

Measure used for pple who can really run. Often the first measure that one might adopt when faced in dire circumstances. its always tis mentality: supsicious ....run !!...not sure..run!! Works well but not entirely feasible. What happens if yr robber out-runs you? Highly recommended for long dist runners, atheletes and pple who tink they can run. if nt.....do not attemtpt to try!

Meaure mastered convincefully by the gals. Typical gals can prob shout and scream till they wake up the neighbourhood. Not safe though as this might jus screw things up and make 'THUG"more pissed off. If that happens....option 3 has to be complied. All in all, unless you seen pple whom u can reach out to...its not a gd choice!

Guess the first time i'll be writing so extensively from this point onwards...Writing has definitely not been my forte and i will try to write as SIMPLE and EASY for those who can't understan me ....It was due to much persuasion from beiz that i'll be writing in this confined space, restricted time and on unfamiliar grounds.
